1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Control Dopamine's website or mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Control Dopamine is a mobile application that helps users manage their screen time by earning credits through healthy activities such as walking, reading, and meditation. The website serves as an informational landing page and waitlist signup.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA, where applicable) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Control Dopamine offers a 7-day free trial for new users. No charge until the trial ends.
  • Paid subscriptions are available at the following introductory prices (USD, actual price may vary by region and currency): Weekly $5.99, Monthly $19.99, Yearly $59.99.
  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — we do not process payment information directly.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your device's App Store or Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • iOS users: any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial period (Apple policy).
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which handle all billing for the Service.
  • In France and the EU, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal. By starting to use the digital service during the withdrawal period, you expressly consent to immediate performance and waive this right (Code de la consommation, art. L. 221-28).

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when signing up for the waitlist.
  • Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service.
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Not abuse the referral system or create fraudulent accounts.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and trademarks on the Service are owned by Berkay TURK or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Control Dopamine is a habit-building tool; it is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or behavioral advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Berkay TURK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable French or EU consumer law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain applicable. For unresolved consumer disputes, you may access the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
